The Loft at the Grange has ceased operation effective April, 2010.  Our hosts at the Brookline Village Store had some great offers from other organizations wanting to pay actual rent for using the space, and so had to make the choice to go with those paying customers.

It was a lot of fun meeting you and hearing all of the great music.  We hope to see you over at Studio 99 in Nashua for an Open Mic or a Jam Session soon … there’s always something going on, every week!

Organizers, Loft at the Grange

The not so good news: The Village Store in Brookline will be closed for the winter months beginning Dec. thru at least Feb. So the Loft at the Grange will close down for those months, and will hopefully start back up in March, 2010…either that, or April. It’s up to the Store! We’ll keep you informed.

So…one more Loft for the fall…and then we’ll be back in the spring!

In the meantime, please check out the 4th Saturday Open Mic at Studio 99 Nashua over the winter (which has some similarities and some differences…but the same great music!)

Videos are being uploaded, slowly but surely…check back often!

A few bits of news:

• Cover is $3, except for performing groups of two or more (group rate of $5 maximum per ensemble)
• If you’d like to be informed of new events at the Loft, please see Bob Pope at the next event, or be sure to leave your email address on the sign-in sheet (even if you’re not a performer)

If you like performing in front of others, just want to try out a new song or poem, or simply enjoy live performances, this Open Mic Night is the perfect event for you!

There will be a $3 cover charge at the door.

Coffee will be available by donation.

Snacks and refreshments will be available for purchase in the Village Store downstairs until the store’s closing time at 9 pm.
